Cristina Granziera is Professor of Neurology at the University of Basel and Co-Director of RC2NB. She leads the Translational Imaging in Neurology (ThINk) in Basel . Her research is dedicated to the development and application of advanced neuroimaging techniques, particularly high-resolution quantitative MRI, to study the mechanisms of neurodegeneration and repair in multiple sclerosis. Her work aims to identify imaging biomarkers that can improve the early diagnosis, monitoring, and prognosis of MS, as well as to guide the development of targeted therapies to prevent disease progression and disability.
